Jassim Zaini was born in Doha in 1942. He received a BA in art from the University of Fine Arts in Baghdad.

Ali Hassan was born in Doha in 1956. Although he did not study art, his BA from Qatar University is in history, he has had a long involvement with Arabic calligraphy beginning in 1972 as a calligrapher for numerous local newspapers. In pursuing his interest in calligraphy.

Faraj Daham was born in Doha in 1956.  He graduated from the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts, Kuwait in 1984 with a degree in Theatrical Set Design.  In 1988, he completed his MFA at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.

Hassan Al Mulla was born in Doha in 1951. He graduated from the Fine Arts University in Baghdad In 1975. Hassan works and lives in Doha.

Mohammed Al Atiq was born in 1966 in Doha. He has been involved extensively in arts through a variety of organizations including Qatar Television where he founded the graphics department; a member of Qatar Fine Arts Society (1987-2013) where he was also chairman (2006-2012); a member of ARCA Italy (2002); a member of Tellus Art organization in Sweden (2009); and the general manager at Regency Art (2013). Mohammed lives and works in Doha.

Salman Al Malik was born in Doha in 1958. He received a BA in education and art from Cairo University in 1982.

Wafika Sultan was born in Doha. She received a BA in applied arts from the University of Cairo in 1974. Wafika lives and works in Doha.

Yousef Ahmed was born in Doha, Qatar in 1955.  He graduated with a BA in art and education from Helwan University in Cairo in 1976 and an MFA in fine arts from Mills College in Oakland, California in 1982.
