ISMAIL AL RIFAI AND ZAHED TAJ-EDDIN.
Ismail Al-Rifai is a painter, poet and novelist, born in Syria in 1967. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Damascus University in 1990. His works have been widely exhibited in biennials including the International Cairo Biennale, the Asian Art Biennale in Bangladesh and the Tehran Biennial.
Zahed Tajeddin was born in Aleppo in 1965. He studied at the University of Aleppo and left Syria in October 1989, moving first to Germany, then to Italy and finally to London where he still lives.
