Within a shared space, the participating artists reflect on the condition of the Arab human experience in the context of recent social transformations. Coming from diverse geographies yet united by a common cultural history, they present individual artistic perspectives under the theme of “Isharat”.
The concept of “Isharat” operates both as language and metaphor an indication, a gesture, or a symbol that carries meaning, whether visible or intangible. In art, these “Isharat” take form beyond words, guiding the viewer through visual compositions that merge form, content, and interpretation. Each artwork becomes a unique expression, shaped by the artist’s choice of medium, technique, and visual language.
In a time marked by rapid change across the Arab world and beyond, artists engage with complex realities, reinterpreting images and meanings shaped by media, memory, and lived experience. Through their work, they seek not to replicate events, but to question, reframe, and reconstruct understanding.
Isharat invites viewers to engage with these layered expressions, where art becomes a space of dialogue between artist and audience. Through symbols and visual language, the exhibition reflects on the human condition, offering insights that extend beyond immediate reality toward deeper cultural and emotional resonance.
