Saad Ali was born in 1953 in Diwania, Iraq. Upon completing his studies and worked at the Artists´ Studio for Graphic Design in Al Kadhimiya, Iraq from 1972-1977. Saad completed further studies at the Accademia Belle Arti Perugia in 1978 and at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze in 1981. He lived in the Netherlands from 1984 to 1995. When he then moved to France. Saad currently works between Bourgogne, France, and Valencia, Spain.
