Continuing al markhiya’s aim to promote synergies between different artists working in Doha, the gallery has invited eight artists to work in pairs to create a unique group exhibition. Collaborations (Part 2) is the second chapter to the group exhibition mounted in 2021. In this series, al markhiya sets artists with the task of developing ideas together, utilizing a wide variety of materials and methods to extend their creative language in new ways.

Each invited duo worked together to develop a presentation that showcases their talents while being in creative 'conversation' with their partner. This resulting exhibition follows the aims of al markhiya gallery in contributing to the development of artistic practice in Doha, while providing a professional exhibition platform for artists.
