The Syrian Artist Adnan Abd Al-Rahman, was born in 1969 in the little village of Al-Ghannamieh known from its grain fields in spring and barren grounds in the summer.

This poor village in north-east Syria, is still inspire the painter to day, in strong earthy colors he paints about the land of his youth. His work expresses the very difficult conditions of work of a people who still live far away from industrial development.

On his canvases Adnan Draws the faces of these people reminding us of their land and of the conditions of any societies.

In 1994 he joined the Faculty of Fine Arts ( Oil Painting Dept..,) at The University of  Damascus. He was graduated in 1998.
