The Syrian Artist Adnan Abdel-Rahman was born in 1969 in the little village of Al-Ghannamieh known from its grain fields in spring and barren grounds in the summer.
This poor village in north-east Syria, is still inspire the painter today, in strong earthy colors he paints about the land of his youth. His work expresses the very difficult conditions of work of a people who still live far away from industrial development.
